rebarly is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. We operate two distinct offerings with different data handling practices — both transparent and documented below.

Enterprise MCP connectors

Our enterprise connectors are deployed on your infrastructure — your cloud, your VPC, or on-premise. We have access to the connector environment for deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting. This includes the ability to view queries and logs necessary to ensure the service operates correctly. No data is stored on rebarly servers or shared with third parties.

• Operational access. We access connector environments to deploy updates, monitor health, and resolve issues.
• No storage. No data is persisted on rebarly infrastructure beyond temporary operational logs.
• No sharing. We do not sell, license, or share your data with anyone.
• No training. Your data is never used to train or fine-tune models.

Rebarly ChatGPT App

Our Rebarly ChatGPT App allows users to query IBC (International Building Code) and UFGS (Unified Facilities Guide Specifications) data through a ChatGPT interface. The app does not access, process, or transmit any user data — it only queries publicly available building codes and specifications. Queries submitted through the app are processed by our service, and we have access to those queries to operate, monitor, and improve the service.

• Public data only. The app queries IBC and UFGS — no user data is ever involved.
• Query visibility. We see the queries you send to operate and monitor the service.
• No sharing. We do not sell, license, or share query data with anyone.
• No training. Your queries are never used to train or fine-tune models.
• Retention. Query logs are retained for operational purposes and periodically deleted.

Third-party AI models

If you configure rebarly connectors to use third-party AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI), data transmitted to those providers is governed by your agreement with them. We do not sell or share data with these providers beyond what is necessary to fulfill your requests.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and note the change on our website. We will never materially change our approach to data without clear notice.
